Chez Philippe at the Peabody Memphis
Grilled English Lamb Chops with Wild Mushroom Ragout, Rosemary Jus
Baked Alaska, Bittersweet Chocolate and Pistachio Ice Creams, Grand Marnier Anglaise
Mignardises -- Gingerbread Meringue Sandwich Cookies; Passion Fruit Jellies; Pistachio Madeleines.
In order to arrive in time for some committee and board of advisors meetings today, my husband Walter and I chose to arrive yesterday. We were able to experience the gourmet French restaurant here at the Peabody Memphis, Chez Philippe.
If this food is any indication of what the hotel plans to do for us for the next few days, I certainly feel we will be well-fed and well-attended to by the charming staff here at the Peabody.
I hope to see you at the conference here in Memphis.
