Thierry Roch spoke about the Brand Assurance Program right after lunch today.
This was the first complete two-year cycle of BA visits by F & G Hospitality to the member properties, and we learned more about how the different properties used history to showcase their properties, some best practices, and how one property achieved measurable results by using their history.
This program helps stamp our hotels with a kind of 'seal of approval' of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
177 properties visited since March 2008. Initially 127 passed right away, with 21 failing to meet using their historic elements portion of the visit.
Thierry had a number of members share how they use the historic experience to develop business. This is something we all need to consider and work on to differentiate our properties from other hotels in the country.
